The man was found to have erectile dysfunction and has been suspended for six months for his alleged illegal use of a Viagra pill.
The suspended man was reportedly taking a pill called sildenafil, which is prescribed to men with diabetes who are having difficulty getting or keeping an erection.
The man's doctor decided the pills were safe because he was having erections.
The man was arrested last week after police found a note from the doctor explaining he had been prescribed sildenafil and took it for a long time.
In the note, the doctor explained he had been taking it for a long time and that the pills were not effective. The doctor then told him to get up slowly to avoid being pulled over, the man said.
The man was placed on a "black box" ticket to "not have a problem with Viagra" but not allowed to have a sexual relationship with his doctor. He is awaiting a ruling by a court if the court approves the plan.
The man was taken to a hospital in New Zealand for evaluation after being prescribed the pill on Jan. 9. He is expected to be out for six months on that date.
The man is scheduled to be in New Zealand by mid-March.

The man had his penis surgically removed in July 2013 to stop blood vessel blockages in his penis. A court ruling was released today, but he is awaiting trial next month in New Zealand.
